About WPspace: Originally born out of the idea of a small WordPress agency in Koblenz, we were fed up with the slow loading times and poor support of standard mass hosting providers. That is why we simply started our own WordPress hosting service in 2020. Since then, we have been managing over 3,000 WordPress websites and taking care of them with great dedication, as if they were our own.
Our History
2019
Foundation of the WordPress agency Broll IT & Media GmbH.
2020
We are fed up with slow loading times and poor support, which is why we are getting our first server of our own. Practically the birth of the later brand WPspace.
2021
We are launching WPspace as a product of our former agency and are now selling throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
2022
WPspace is growing rapidly, and we mean business. We are registering WPspace as a trademark and putting the agency business on hold to make the brand great with full force.
2023
WPspace is among the three largest German WordPress hosts and is being named Web Host of the Year for the first time.
2024
We are growing and moving to a larger corporate location: the Technology Center Koblenz (TZK). The title of Web Host of the Year is successfully defended.
2025
WPspace secures the title of Web Host of the Year for the third time in a row!
2026
To meet our performance requirements, we are using our own hardware servers in a high-availability cluster for the first time. Our customers' page load times have improved by an average of 700%.
